We
will Not be playing in the newly formed Durham Alliance Combination
League..
Well
here we go again. Whitehill will not have a team playing in
the league again this season.
I Can't understand it. We have an excellent Committee that
run the Club to a high standard, a Very Good Manager to run
the team, Great Facilities to play on, including Floodlights
for the excitement of midweek games, and for some reason no
one wants to play football in the Chester area on a Sat Afternoon
and Midweek.
We are the only club that have plenty of sponsorship from
two fantastic ex players but not enough players, to play the
games. We must be the envy of all other clubs but still we
cannot find enough players, what a great shame.
When players are getting on a bit they'd wished thay had played
football when they could believe you me.
Maybe its the travelling to one or two clubs, or we are just
not as good at running a club as we think we are. I don't
know.
I will still keep the league up to date to
keep the website running, watch out for some big scorelines.
