Whitehill ended up finishing a creditable 4th spot in the league after a 6-2 win over Ebchester Con Res.
It was Ebchester who took the lead on 12 mins through Dan Parker but Whitehill were back on level terms on 21 mins when CRAIG MICKLE was brought down in the box and stepped up to make it 1-1, and also scored Whitehill's 100th league goal of the season.
Following good work by Aaron Wright on 38 mins he set up CAMERON NICHOL to finish well for 2-1. H.T. 2-1
Ebchester continued to press and got back on level terms on 52 mins with a great finish from Mark Longstaff for 2-2. The game turned on the hour mark when their keeper got sent from the field after bringing CRAIG MICKLE down in the box for another penalty and he made it 3-2 from the spot kick. Whitehill pressed from then on and STEPHEN MARRIOTT scored his first goal of the season to make it 4-2 on 71 mins with a good header. On 88 mins STEPHEN WOOD then finished well for 5-2 and right on time AARON WRIGHT chipped the oncoming keeper for 6-2.
